Preparing

My sister and her husband adopted a beautiful baby boy in October.  My parents just returned from a a visit, and I will be going to Europe myself for several weeks in late June.  I've been looking at maps, meeting people from around the world and day dreaming about more travels for about five years now.  Very excited to meet my nephew, see Berlin for the third time, explore some new parts of Germany and take a week to check out some neighboring countries!  I know I'm supposed to be patriotic today, but it's like that old Kipling quote, "What do they know of England, who England only know?"  If you really want to know what your house looks like, you've got to cross the street sometimes

I was teaching about food, so I put together a large slideshow of photographs of foods and meals, celebrating a variety of choices.  I would change the picture, and they would try to identify the food.  We got very hungry very fast.  Luckily, it was right before lunch.
