I signed a lease in Harlem this morning, and got the keys this afternoon!
Tomorrow I move into my New York City place to be (I happened to be listening to Hiromi's song of the same name as I unlocked the apartment for the first time), beginning my first ever residence in Manhattan. My commute to work will only be 25 minutes, I'll have my own room, and most importantly, my first desk since I left Japan, which will make writing a lot easier.
There's also a beautiful snowstorm swirling through the city. I am very happy.
